✔ Unmatched Clinical Breadth
Train across the full spectrum of nephrology—outpatient CKD, GN, transplant nephrology, dialysis, CRRT, and procedural care—serving a diverse, high-acuity patient population that sharpens your diagnostic and clinical skills.
✔ Individualized Mentorship and Training
You are not just a trainee here—you are a future colleague. Our faculty provide hands-on teaching, career guidance, and advocacy tailored to your goals, whether academic medicine, private practice, or further subspecialization.
✔ Access to UCLA Resources and Employment Benefits
Fellows benefit from close integration with the UCLA Kidney Transplant Program, established research infrastructure, and nationally recognized visiting professorships—while maintaining the supportive culture of a smaller program. As UCLA employees, fellows receive a highly competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, along with representation through the UCLA housestaff union.
