Application + Match

All nephrology candidates must apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) of the AAMC. Our program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) for all of our positions. All applicants must have completed an ACGME-approved Internal Medicine Residency in the United States prior to starting the Nephrology Fellowship.

  • June 7, 2023: ERAS opens for applicants
  • July 5, 2023: ERAS applicants apply for programs
  • July 19, 2023: Fellowship programs start receiving applications in ERAS
  • September 27, 2023: NRMP Ranking opens
  • November 15, 2023: NRMP Rank Order List deadline at 9pm ET
  • November 29, 2023: NRMP Match results at 12pm ET

Salary + Benefits

The current annual salary for fellows in the program are:

  • Post-graduate year 4 (First-year nephrology fellow): $97,997
  • Post-graduate year 5 (Second-year nephrology fellow): $101,434
