PowerChart Training

Instructions

Training and proficiency in ORCHID PowerChart are expected and required before you can access the electronic health record at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center. PowerChart is the EHR application used in the inpatient clinical setting (including Wards, ICU, L&D) and ambulatory clinical setting.

You must complete all of these steps to acquire access.

  1. Watch the instructional PowerChart Training videos (total length 90 minutes).
  2. Take the online PowerChart Certification Exam.
  3. Submit the Training Attestation.

For training in FirstNet, visit the ORCHID FirstNet Training website here. Training and proficiency in FirstNet are expected before working in the Emergency Department or Urgent Care.
