Gustavo Chavez has been the UCLA- OV IM Program Coordinator since July 2014. Prior to this, he worked at Olive View as the Academic Personnel Manager since 1996. Gus plays a central role in the daily operations of our trainees, including all aspects of coordination of housestaff, medical students, and applicants. Everything from onboarding, event preparation, contracting and regulatory compliance tasks fall under his purview and he is an endless source of encouragement and knowledge for our residents. Friendly, loyal, and hard-working, he continues to be a welcome presence in the Department of Medicine and the residency program.

Assistant Program Manager

Ehab Salib come to us from the financial sector. His professional journey in the financial industry has been diverse, with roles in wealth management and mortgage loan origination, honing his analytical and problem-solving skills. Ehab has since transitioned to the healthcare sector, bringing his expertise to UCLA Olive View’s Internal Medicine Residency Program as a program coordinator. Ehab works on applicant recruitment and dedicates a significant portion of his time to crafting the intricate 52-week inpatient block schedule for all 78 residents.
