Dr. Sadasivam grew up in South India and earned her medical degree from Stanley Medical College in Chennai, India. She completed Internal Medicine residency at the NYU Downtown Hospital, New York in 2005. After moving to California, she worked as a hospitalist with a private medical group for several years. Motivated by her desire to provide medical care for the underserved patient population as well as her interest in medical education, she joined Olive View UCLA Medical Center’s Hospital Medicine faculty in 2018. She served as the patient safety officer for the institution from 2020 – 2021 and joined the core clinical faculty of the Internal Medicine residency program in 2023.  Her interests are in the areas of mentorship, clinical reasoning and evidence-based medicine.
