Dr. Phyllis Kim is a board-certified hematologist and oncologist who treats patients with benign and malignant hematologic conditions as well as solid tumors. Her areas of interest include malignant hematology, breast cancer, and GI malignancies. She is committed to delivering and expanding quality cancer care to our unique population at Olive View-UCLA. Other interests include medical education, physician wellness and burnout prevention, and quality improvement.
Dr. Kim received her undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology. She received her medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She completed her Internal Medicine residency and chief residency at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, then went on to complete fellowship training in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
