What attracted you to Olive View? My first introduction to Olive View-UCLA as a UCLA MS3 was over 5 years ago, and I have been in love with it ever since. Drawn initially by the unique patient population, their stories, and their dearth of medical care, I became enthralled by our attendings, their teaching, and their thoughtfulness. But what sets Olive View-UCLA undeniably apart are the residents. I have seen 5 classes of residents come through the doors, and every year, there’s a near-instantaneous cohesiveness. You can always rely on your co-residents to help, to listen, and most importantly to have fun during the course of residency. We’ve explored so much of LA together, from the Santa Monica Mountains to Venice beach to hidden gems in downtown.
What is your favorite thing to do in Los Angeles? By far and away my favorite thing to do in LA is packing a lunch, hiking up to the mountains, and enjoying the peace and quiet of Malibu.
What are your hobbies? I also stay active with Brazilian jiu jitsu, swimming, and basketball.
